Aswin Sivaraman is a 2022 research intern in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft on the Audio/Visual Perception team.

He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Indiana University advised by Prof. Minje Kim.  Aswin’s research interests are in deep-learning solutions for speech and music-processing problems.  His recent publications involve speaker or environment adaptation for speech enhancement.  Aswin completed his bachelor’s in electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In his spare time Aswin loves listening to new music, DJing, watching and writing about films, travelling, and taking candid photos.
