Igor Grebnev

Igor Grebnev is a computer-science researcher in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) working on digital input technologies and computer vision.  His projects in ASG include zero force inking for the electronic pen, optometry, and lens correction.  His recent project relates to cameras with wide angle views, calibration of lens profile, image un-distortion and implementing of virtual camera rotation.

Before joining ASG, Igor worked on different projects in Microsoft including DRM, Bluetooth, Microsoft Band, and small formfactor devices.  Igor’s education is in physics, he received his master’s degree from Saint Petersburg State University and an incomplete Ph.D. from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

In his free time, Igor enjoys all types of outdoor activity including hiking, mountaineering, skiing, kayaking, and recently paragliding.
