Luka Bojovic

Luka Bojovic is a product manager working in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG) Belgrade driving production of A.I. models that will power experiences across the Windows ecosystem.

Before joining ASG, he was on the Microsoft Mixed Reality team where he worked on avatars in Teams and new hardware tools for improving the HMD MR experience.  Before Microsoft, Luka worked as a machine-learning engineer where he applied deep-learning techniques to extract information from EEG signals, as a part of the R&D team in a Belgrade-based company producing state-of-the-art EEG devices.

Luka holds a B.A. in biomedical and information learning, an M.Eng. in biomedical engineering and machine learning from the University of Cambridge, U.K.  He went to Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade and holds medals from international olympiads in physics and astrophysics.

In his free time, Luka likes to contribute to the community including organizing the summer school of machine learning through the Practical Seminar in Machine Learning (PSIML).  He travels frequently and enjoys learning foreign languages.  He currently speaks Russian and German, and learned some basics in Turkish, Spanish, and French.
