Pablo Sala
Pablo Sala

Pablo Sala joined the Applied Sciences Group in 2011. He received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where he worked on problems of visual robot navigation, perceptual grouping, and shape abstraction. He also holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires, where he worked on algorithms for solving large systems of linear equations with applications in computed tomography.

Pablo’s research interests are in computer vision and machine learning, particularly in object recognition, image segmentation, perceptual grouping and shape modelling, indexing, and matching.

In his free time, Pablo enjoys going out with his family, as well as watching movies.
